Indicative ranges · kitting cost
Kitting cost, by brand +film type + trim class.
Indicative ranges for material planning only — a manufacturer reference ahead of any installation-labor figure. Five flagship brands (XPEL, 3M, Llumar, SunTek, STEK) × two film-type groups (color-change vinyl, PPF) × six vehicle classes (911 / M-Class / RS, the GT sedan, mid-size SUV, full-size, track-day exotic, and super SUV). Use the matrix to self-budget before the fitted-quote answer on /build.

What “kitting cost” means on Veilmotive.
On Veilmotive, kitting cost is a planning reference for the precut film package associated with a specific vehicle trim. The number reflects the per-vehicle-class block, the manufacturer reference, and the film-type group (PPF or color-change vinyl). A matched installer confirms the applicable material, scope, and price.
Labor is a separate decision and is not in any figure on this page. The /build path and a certified installer conversation are how those details surface; /cost is the read-then-plan layer that helps someone compare a per-brand, per-trim, and per-film-type range before requesting a match.
- Paint protection filmClear / self-healing: XPEL Ultimate Plus, 3M Pro Series, Llumar Valor, SunTek Ultra, STEK DYNOshield-form.
- Color-change vinylColored cast vinyl: Vvivid, TeckWrap, Aromorth, and a 3M gloss line. Only the 3M color-change line appears under the five-brand brief; the other four are represented in the catalog via independent color-change makers (see /films).
The matrix · ranges only
Five brands × two film types × six classes.
Filter the chips below by brand or film type. The full band — per (brand, film type, trim class) — appears in USD cents, formatted to whole dollars on render. Per-cell notes flag color-change combinations Veilmotive does not catalog under the five-brand brief and explain where to look on /films.
How to read the matrix
Pick the brand, the film type, the trim class. Quoting is /build.
Each row across the matrix below is a price band, expressed in integer cents and formatted on render. The matrix is built deterministically from the per-(brand, film-type, vehicle-class) baseline each brand provides, modulated by the trim-class surface area. A cell with a greyed “$0” means the brand does not catalog that combination in the Veilmotive lineup — the per-cell note points to the maker who does (color-change lines run through Vvivid / TeckWrap / Aromorth for most reference searches; only the 3M color-change line appears under the five-brand brief).

FAQ · indicative ranges
The four questions the matrix does not answer.
The matrix is the self-budget layer for kitting-cost ranges. The /build path answers the fitted-quote question. The four questions below are the ones Veilmotive readers ask again and again once the matrix loads — start there before the per-trim question.
What does the range represent?
The range is a per-vehicle material-planning reference — each panel mapped to its part number on a manufacturer sheet, with the relevant film type and batch details to confirm. A matched installer confirms the material, coverage, and final price for the vehicle.
What is NOT in the range?
Labor, body-shop remediation, and per-shop surcharges. The /build planning path helps route the request; the matched installer confirms labor, scope, quote, booking, payment, and installation details.
PPF vs color-change vinyl — same range?
No. Color-change vinyl is the rolled material only — no clear-coat, no top-coat; the range drops meaningfully against PPF. PPF carries the hydrophobic / self-healing top coat described in the manufacturer specification, and the range reflects that.
Why does this page not show a per-make + per-trim exact price?
Because the final figure depends on trim, batch, scope, and installer. The right shape for that is /build — a matching route that leads to installer confirmation — not a public range table. /cost is the planning layer; /build starts the conversation.
From ranges to quote
Range set: go get a fitted quote.
Veilmotive reads the matrix as a self-budget layer. The matched installer confirms the material, scope, and fitted quote — per brand, per trim, per film-type — after you share the plan on /build.
