Question 1

What can Veilmotive help me match?

Accepted Answer

The matching flow supports Paint Protection Film (PPF), Window Tinting, or both. It also lets you share a wrap-direction preference with your request so a participating installer can understand the kind of project you are considering. Veilmotive is a free referral service: we do not sell, ship, or install film, and the flow does not offer a separate standalone wrap-only service selection.

Question 2

What does referral-only matching mean?

Accepted Answer

Veilmotive reviews the project context you submit, looks for a relevant participating local installer, and makes an introduction. Referral-only means Veilmotive facilitates that introduction and provides owner education; the installer—not Veilmotive—handles the direct project conversation and any decision to take the work.

Question 3

What do I submit in a matching request?

Accepted Answer

You share the vehicle and project context needed for an introduction, such as the vehicle year, make, and model; whether you want PPF, Window Tinting, or both; your wrap-direction preference when relevant; the panels, coverage, finish, or material goals you are considering; your location coverage area; contact details; and any useful notes, photos, or timing preferences.

Question 4

What happens after I submit a request?

Accepted Answer

Veilmotive reviews the request, identifies a relevant participating installer, and sends the relevant request details to that installer for follow-up. The installer then contacts you directly to confirm the vehicle and scope, discuss materials and timing, answer project questions, and explain the terms that apply to the work.

Question 5

Is submitting a matching request a booking or purchase?

Accepted Answer

No. Matching is free, and submitting a request is not a booking, purchase, or promise that an installer will accept the project or that a particular result will be available. You can evaluate the installer’s direct quote and decide whether to book with that installer.

Question 6

Who provides the quote and handles the work and warranty?

Accepted Answer

The matched installer contracts directly with the vehicle owner and owns the firm quote, project scope, material recommendation, scheduling and booking, payment collection, installation work, customer relationship, and applicable warranty communication and obligations.

Question 7

Is matching free, and can Veilmotive receive a referral fee?

Accepted Answer

Matching is free; participating installers may pay Veilmotive a referral fee when a matched job is booked. Veilmotive receives a referral fee equal to 10% of the booked job value, capped at $500 per booked job. We disclose that relationship so you can evaluate the installer’s quote with the full context.

Question 8

How are film brands referenced?

Accepted Answer

Veilmotive is not affiliated with or an authorized dealer of XPEL, 3M, Llumar, SunTek, or STEK. Brand names are used for comparison and educational purposes only. Confirm current specifications, availability, and applicable terms with the installer and the relevant manufacturer.
